Required Standards For Free Thought Feed

Murdoch expects and welcomes contributions that will challenge the imagination of other users. While we encourage creativity, we expect all users of the site to treat each other with respect and courtesy. You may contribute to the free thought feed, subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. You may be held legally responsible for the content of any message you submit.
2. All messages are published at Murdoch's sole discretion.
3. Your message may be edited, removed or not published if Murdoch considers it to be:
   1. defamatory, or that it violates any laws including but not limited to laws regarding harassment, discrimination, privacy or contempt;
   2. an infringement of intellectual property rights or copyright;
   3. abusive or offensive, including any obscenity, blasphemy, racial vilification or deliberate provocation of other users;
   4. compromising the privacy of yourself, other users or of Murdoch staff or students, or containing inappropriate personal information;
   5. seeking to endorse commercial products or activities or to solicit business; or
   6. otherwise of nuisance value, inappropriate or vexatious.
4. Any messages posted by a person under 16 should be done under adult supervision.
5. Murdoch reserves the right to archive and republish all messages, and to use any messages for its business purposes.
6. Repeated breaches of these Standards may cause Murdoch to complain to the Internet Service Provider of the person responsible, and in very serious cases, to initiate legal action.
