Join our Murdoch discoverers
Our freethinking approach is one of the reasons we have a reputation for good teaching, ground-breaking research and happy students. We're also the only uni to achieve a 5-star rating for graduate satisfaction for 13 out of the last 14 years (Good Universities Guide 2009).
Here are just some of the ways we apply freethinking to studying at Murdoch.
A focus on flexibility
We offer a range of scholarships and entry pathways, plus a range of study options to help fit study around your work and lifestyle commitments.
We encourage you to think laterally and mix subjects to get the best combination of real-world skills and experience. So, for example, instead of studying Engineering alone, we'd recommend studying Engineering and Commerce, to get the business sense you need to pursue a challenging career.
Choose from a wide range of courses
Our students are enrolled in over 200 undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees, including Veterinary Science, Law, Teaching, Psychology, Business and Nursing.
All of our courses are designed to create opportunities for your future. You can find a course to suit your freethinking style - or we can help you to explore options you might not have considered before.
Help support local and global community
Across all of our study areas, our courses have a conscience. For example, our Chiropractic students run special camps in India to help people who are involved in the shocking trade of rock breaking. In the first year, our students treated more than 400 people for cuts, bruises, fever and back ache.

A collaborative approach
"Murdoch has a strong sense of community - it just happens to be education that is the 'thing' that brings us together"
Be inspired by our new television commercial and join the community - the more people working together the more likely it is to happen.
